Content Creator Policy

simREF is a community-driven project. Creativity, discussion, and open exchange are not only welcome — they are encouraged.

1. Free Creation of Content

Everyone is free to create and publish content about simREF without prior approval. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Written content (articles, reviews, posts)
  • Spoken content (videos, streams, podcasts)
  • Illustrations, graphics, screenshots, and visual media

You are free to share your opinions, experiences, critiques, and impressions of simREF in any form.

2. Subjective Opinions & Responsible Criticism

Subjective opinions, personal impressions, and honest criticism are explicitly encouraged and valued as part of an open community.

However, simREF reserves the right to review and, if necessary, take legal action against content that includes:

  • Verifiably false factual claims
  • Defamation or accusations without a factual or critical basis
  • Insults, harassment, or harmful statements made by or directed at third parties

This distinction exists to protect constructive discourse while maintaining a respectful and factual environment.

3. Independence & Attribution

Content creators are fully independent. All opinions expressed are their own and do not need to reflect the views, intentions, or roadmap of simREF.

When reasonable, please credit simREF by name and avoid misleading representations (for example, claiming official affiliation if none exists).

4. Use of Logos & Media Assets

Official simREF logos, example videos, screenshots, and brand-related materials are available in the Media Gallery section of the website.

These assets can be accessed via: media.html

Media assets provided there may be used for editorial, review, and informational purposes related to simREF.

5. Optional Contact & Collaboration

Content creators are warmly invited — but not required — to reach out in advance for:

  • Questions or clarifications
  • Background information
  • Context regarding upcoming changes or features

6. Community First
